Simple  ·  Effective  ·  Convenient  ·  Discreet

Who We Are

One Touch Recovery Center is a licensed alcohol and drug outpatient treatment center with co-occurring disorders, located in Pomona, CA. We have mental health staff and chemical health staff who are educated and experienced in the specific area of people who struggle with these issues.

Our treatment philosophy is quite simple, effective, convenient, and discreet. With the flexibility of our services, our programs help clients keep their employment, get their life back on track with minimal disruption to their busy lives, and remain within a supportive family and community environment.

Our Treatment Philosophy

Simple

Treatment shouldn’t require a manual to understand. We explain what each level of care involves, what a week looks like, and what happens next, in language that makes sense the first time you hear it.

Effective

Our programming draws on established clinical approaches — cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, and 12-step facilitation — rather than anything improvised.

Convenient

Day and evening groups exist because most people cannot disappear from their lives for a month. Scheduling is one of the most common reasons treatment never starts, so we treat it as a clinical concern rather than an administrative one.

Discreet

Privacy matters to people with careers, families, and reputations they are trying to hold together. Substance use treatment records carry protections beyond standard medical privacy rules, and we operate accordingly.

What Flexibility of Services Actually Means

Outpatient care is not a lesser version of treatment. It is a different design, built for people who have obligations they cannot walk away from and support systems worth staying close to.

Keep your employment. Programming schedules are arranged around shifts, classes, and caregiving, so treatment does not cost someone their income.

Minimal disruption. Clients go home at the end of the day, which means recovery skills are practiced in the environment where they will actually be needed.

Stay within a supportive family and community. Family sessions are part of the work, and the people closest to a client are treated as part of the recovery rather than an audience to it.

Treating Co-Occurring Disorders Alongside Addiction

A substantial share of people entering addiction treatment are also living with a mental health condition — depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and others. Treating one while ignoring the other tends to produce a short-lived result.

Our staffing reflects that. We have both mental health staff and chemical health staff, and they work with the same clients rather than in separate lanes. Group programming includes meetings for co-occurring issues and support for anxiety and depression, alongside the substance-focused work.

Our Staff

Our team combines clinical leadership, medical oversight, licensed therapy staff, certified counseling staff, and the admissions and administrative people who make the day-to-day work.

Licensing and Credentials

Addiction treatment is a field where marketing quality and clinical quality are not always the same thing. Anyone comparing programs should verify what they are told rather than take a website’s word for it.

Three checks worth making before choosing any program

Confirm state licensing. California’s Department of Health Care Services publishes a directory of licensed and certified alcohol and other drug programs, each with a certification number and expiration date. Check that certification is current, not simply that one existed at some point.

Check accreditation with the accrediting body directly. Joint Commission and CARF both maintain public directories you can search by facility name. A certificate on a wall is not the same as a live listing.

Ask who is delivering the care. What licenses do the counseling staff hold, who supervises them, who conducts the assessment, and what happens if a client needs a level of care the facility does not provide.

How Treatment Begins Here

Step One

Assessment

A chemical health assessment establishes what is going on, whether a co-occurring condition is present, and which level of care fits. Some people arrive from inpatient care elsewhere; some have never been in treatment at all.

Step Two

Treatment plan and schedule

We build a plan around the individual and settle on a schedule that works with their job, classes, or family responsibilities. A plan someone cannot attend is not a plan.

Step Three

Programming and step-down

Clients move through the appropriate level of care and step down gradually rather than stopping abruptly, with sober living referrals available for anyone who needs a substance-free place to stay.
