Step One

A conversation about your situation

We ask what has been going on, what has already been tried, and what your week actually looks like. Nobody is expected to have their situation neatly summarized before they call.

Step Two

Assessment and level of care

A chemical health assessment establishes which level of care fits — PHP, IOP, standard outpatient, or a referral elsewhere if what you need is something we do not provide, such as medically supervised detox.

Step Three

Insurance, scheduling, and a start date

We verify benefits, agree on a day or evening schedule that fits around work, school, or caregiving, and arrange sober living if home is not a stable place to be during treatment.

Insurance information

Your insurance card, or the plan name and member ID. We work with private insurance, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and self-pay clients, and coverage varies by plan.

Treatment history

Any previous programs, current prescriptions, and whether you have recently completed detox or inpatient care. None of this is required to make contact — it just speeds things up.

Your availability

Shift patterns, class timetables, and childcare arrangements. Scheduling is one of the most common reasons treatment never starts, so it is worth raising early rather than late.
